Vijayaditya advises on structuring and setting up alternative investment funds in India and offshore, with expertise in fund formation, regulatory compliance, and investor negotiations across diverse investment strategies.
Vijayaditya Reddy is a member of the Investment Funds, Asset Management and Regulatory practice. His core focus lies in structuring, advising, and setting up alternative investment funds across a wide range of strategies, including angel, private equity/venture capital, credit, real estate, and long/short funds. He has extensive experience in drafting constitutional documents and providing end-to-end support to both domestic and foreign fund managers in establishing funds in India and GIFT City. He has also advised on the structuring of India-focused offshore funds in jurisdictions such as Mauritius and Delaware.
He regularly assists fund managers in capital raising from institutional investors and is actively involved in negotiating fund documentation with prospective limited partners. In addition to fund formation, he frequently advises and supports portfolio managers and investment advisers on regulatory, operational and compliance matters.
He holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.
