Shivani advises on secured lending transactions for banks, NBFCs, and corporates, with expertise in complex financing structures, security documentation, real estate due diligence, and regulatory compliance under RBI, FEMA, and SEBI.
Shivani Doshi is a member of the Banking and Finance Team. Her focus lies in advising banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, real estate developers, and corporate borrowers on secured lending transactions, including term loans, working capital facilities, syndicated lending, external commercial borrowings (ECBs), asset-backed financing, and construction finance ensuring full regulatory alignment and risk mitigation. She has handled numerous complex transactions involving multiple lenders, intercreditor arrangements, and multi-tiered security structures. Her work includes drafting, negotiating, and reviewing financing and security documentation such as loan agreements, debenture documents, hypothecation deeds, mortgages, and pledge agreements. She has also been actively involved in legal due diligence, title verification for real estate-backed financing, and providing regulatory advice under the RBI, FEMA, and SEBI frameworks.
