Vishnu Chandran is a Partner at RegFin Legal with over 15 years of experience advising private equity and venture capital funds, founders, and corporates on investments, exits, and M&A transactions. He advises on transactions across all stages, including early-stage venture financings, growth-stage and large private equity deals, and buyouts.
His experience includes a wide range of cross-border transactions and complex structuring
exercises, including externalisations and reverse flips. He also has notable experience
advising on transactions in highly regulated sectors such as retail, e-commerce, gaming, and
digital assets/cryptocurrencies.
In addition to his transactional practice, Vishnu advises on corporate and governance
matters, including restructurings, regulatory issues, ESOP structuring, and founder-related
matters, making him a well-rounded advisor to both investors and operating businesses.
Vishnu has been recognised as a “Future Legal Leader” by India Business Law Journal and
has served as a member of the peer review board of the RGNUL Student Research Review.
