Kessia is a Senior Associate in the Funds, Asset Management and Regulatory practice, with significant experience in advising on the structuring and establishment of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) across a broad spectrum of strategies in India.

She advises a diverse set of clients in setting up a variety of fund structures across various strategies, and supports them through the fund lifecycle. She also has extensive experience advising clients in GIFT City, advising on both inbound and outbound fund structures, as well as strategic considerations relevant to the IFSC framework. She also assisted in the documentation and launch of the first overseas retail scheme in GIFT City.

Kessia regularly assists fund managers and General Partners (GPs) in capital raising processes and has been involved in negotiating fund documentation with a diverse set of investors, including institutional investors, family offices, insurance companies, and global funds. In addition, she advises clients on a wide range of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters, and supports fund managers and related entities on ongoing operational and day-to-day regulatory requirements.

She holds a graduate degree in law from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad.
