Rahul specializes in Real Estate and Infrastructure Laws and brings with him diverse experience spanning over 15 years including structuring complex transactions. Prior to joining IC Reg Fin Legal, Rahul was leading the legal team for the entire South region on the leasing transactions. He has also worked with Economic Laws Practice, Hariani & Co. and Wadia Ghandy & Co.
Rahul has expertise in Development and Re-development of projects including MHADA, MCGM, CIDCO, SRA Schemes and Green Field projects.
Rahul has conducted multiple title due diligences of properties PAN India for leading Real Estate Developers, Banks and Financial Institutions. He has advised multiple clients on the process of acquisition of agricultural lands for bonafide industrial use.
He has a deep experience and understanding of the warehousing and logistics sector and he also specializes in leasing transactions in relation to the same. He has also advised various clients on acquisition and development of units within SEZ’s. He has advised multiple clients on leasing transactions with respect to lands owned by MIDC, GIDC, KIADB and SIPCOT.
He has also worked on and represented various clients on the development management models which involved negotiation of various Development Management Agreements.
He has also negotiated several Power Purchase Agreements both for the Power Producers and the Purchasers. He has advised clients on entering into Partnership Firms and also on re-structuring/re-constitution of partnership firms.
Rahul has been actively advising clients on compliance with RERA laws and has drafted various RERA compliant Agreements for Sale for several real estate developers. Rahul has been actively advising and representing both the real estate developers and flat purchasers on various transactions.
He has worked on several MIDC matters including leasing and assignment of leases on MIDC land. Rahul also has a deep understanding of various services in the real estate sector and as such has negotiated various Service Agreements.
Rahul has also advised and represented several housing societies and also several leading real estate developers in society re-development matters.
Rahul has strategized, handled and advised on several litigation matters before various courts, tribunals and forums.
