Shubhangi is a member of the Funds, Asset Management & Regulatory Team.

She advises domestic and international clients on fund formation, registration, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on alternative investment funds (including private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds and debt funds).
She has extensive experience in advising on complex fund structuring considerations and negotiating fund documentation from both GP and LP perspectives, including with institutional investors, insurance companies, DFIs, and family offices, with a focus on aligning regulatory, commercial, and investor requirements. She regularly assists fund managers through the entire lifecycle of a fund, including documentation, registration, and ongoing regulatory and operational matters, and is actively involved in advising on day-to-day legal and regulatory issues. She also advises foreign investors on matters pertaining to investments in alternative investment funds in India.
Prior to joining the firm, Shubhangi was part of the Investment Funds practice at Trilegal, Mumbai.
She holds a B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
