Tejas Agarwal is an Advocate and Solicitor with extensive experience in litigation, widely recognized for his expertise in insolvency, real estate, and dispute strategy. He currently heads the Litigation Practice at the firm.
Tejas is a Partner at IC Regfin Legal, where he leads the Litigation practice. His core areas of expertise include corporate and commercial litigation, arbitration, strategic advisory, and insolvency-related disputes.
Over the years, he has represented a diverse clientele comprising Indian and multinational corporations, infrastructure companies, co-operative societies, sports clubs, financial institutions, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), banks, NBFCs, liquidators, and resolution professionals. His appearances span various courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums across India, handling complex corporate, financial, commercial, insolvency, and redevelopment matters.
Tejas has significant experience in managing multifaceted disputes involving commercial transactions, land and real estate laws, and arbitration proceedings. His work includes enforcement of arbitral awards and decrees before multiple judicial and quasi-judicial forums. He has also advised and represented both domestic and international clients on intricate issues under India’s corporate and personal insolvency framework, as well as on structuring and executing debt recovery and security enforcement strategies.
Beyond his core practice, Tejas has a keen interest in institutional arbitration, gaming and sports law, intellectual property rights, and complex transactional matters.
He is an alumnus of KC Law College, Mumbai, a qualified Solicitor, and a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, the Bombay Incorporated Law Society, and the Mumbai Company Law Tribunal Bar Association. Prior to his current role, he was a Partner at IC Legal, Advocates and Solicitors.
